I-Plan Model

    I plan

The I-PLAN model describes three important ABC's of the health promotion planning model:
    1. Analysis
    2. Behavioral Interventions and
    3. Continuation of prevention.

Integration: This planning model is the result of the integration of several models about planning and behavior change that have been used in the field of health education and promotion, most notably the PRECEDE-PROCEED model for health education and promotion (Green & Kreuter), the Community Change Model (Bracht, 1990), and Diffusion Theory (Rogers, 1983).The planning model integrates various ideas and principles from health promotion planning models, models on behavioral change and diffusion. Hence, we refer to the model as an integrated planning model.
